Therapy for adults & families

When the old way of coping isn’t working anymore.

Maybe you feel stuck in the same patterns, communication keeps breaking down, or life changed faster than you could process it. Therapy can make room for what’s happening and help you find a more workable way forward.

A thoughtful start

We look at the person and the relationships around them.

Whether you come individually or as a family, we’ll explore more than symptoms. We’ll pay attention to your strengths, history, culture, relationships, roles, stressors, and the patterns that may be keeping everyone stuck.

What the process looks like

A collaborative plan—not a generic list of advice.

01

Assessment

We’ll talk through what brings you in, what has already been tried, relevant history, current relationships, daily functioning, safety, strengths, and what you hope will feel different.

02

Treatment plan

Together, we’ll define clear goals that fit your priorities. That may include reducing anxiety, processing trauma, changing unhelpful patterns, building coping skills, or communicating more effectively as a family.

03

Sessions

Sessions may use person-centered, CBT, DBT, and family-systems approaches. We might learn practical skills, slow down a difficult interaction, explore where a pattern began, or practice a new way of responding.

04

Progress check-ins

We’ll revisit your goals and talk openly about what is helping. Therapy is not something being done to you; your feedback shapes the process, including when it is time to shift focus or begin wrapping up.

You don’t have to untangle everything before reaching out.

A simple “I’m looking for a therapist” is enough to start.
