Therapy for transitional ages

You’re becoming yourself in real time.

The shift into adulthood can feel exciting, confusing, lonely, and overwhelming—sometimes all in the same week. Therapy can help you sort through the pressure without pretending anyone has it completely figured out.

A thoughtful start

We start with your life—not a checklist of who you should be.

We’ll look at what is happening now, the patterns that keep showing up, the relationships and systems around you, and the direction you want your life to take. You set the pace, and we make the work practical enough to use outside the therapy room.

What the process looks like

Structure when it helps. Flexibility when life gets messy.

01

Assessment

We’ll talk about your current concerns, history, strengths, support system, stressors, and how things are affecting school, work, relationships, sleep, or daily functioning.

02

Treatment plan

We’ll create goals that feel meaningful to you—like managing anxiety, understanding identity, setting boundaries, improving relationships, processing trauma, or feeling more capable in daily life.

03

Sessions

Our work may include honest conversation, CBT and DBT tools, exploring family and relationship patterns, and practicing concrete ways to respond differently when old habits take over.

04

Progress check-ins

We’ll pause regularly to ask what is changing, what still feels difficult, and whether our focus needs to shift. You’re allowed to say when something isn’t landing—that helps us make therapy more useful.

You don’t have to know your whole future to take the next step.

We can begin with what feels hardest right now and figure out the rest together.
